Des nouvelles...

Coucou tout le monde - desolee, je n'ai pas ecris beaucoup dernierement mais j'etais a San francisco pour le boulot et c'est le speed depuis le retour des vacances de Noel... Pendant que j'etais en deplacement, Jon a enmene Louis chez un coiffeur pour sa premiere coupe de cheveux... comme dirait ma belle-mere, "ca fait un peu coupe moine!" mais bon ca repousse... Louis marche partout maintenant et commence a dire pas mal de mots, bien sur surtout en anglais (car, cat, plane, bear, down, bird, nanny, nose...) et appelle "cat" tout animal sur 4 pattes! Il appelle Mandoo "mamoo" (c'est plus facile!) et il veut manger tout seul maintenant avec sa cuillere... cette semaine, on va parler francais car Lili et Fafa arrivent jeudi - youpi!
Hi everyone sorry for giving much news recently, it's been rather mad. Whilst I was in the US for work, Jon took Lou to a hairdressers for his first hair cut, which needless to say he hated so the result is a style that is rather "monk-like" as jon's mum Steph put it to me in a text message when I asked her honestly whilst still in the US how bad was it!!! Anyway Lou is walking well now and can say quite a few words (car, cat, bear, plane, down, bird, nanny, nose...) -- he calls the cat "Mamoo" (Mandoo is too hard, you see!) and calls his rabbit and dummy "Bah" and asks for them constantly, and when he wants his beaker, he says "more". He also calls "cat" any animal on 4 legs!! He also wants to fee myself now with a spoon (laundry load has gone up significantly as a result). Below is a picture taken last night in the bath!!

Trouvailles / Little Finds...

Ca fait longtemps que je cherche des sites avec des jouets ou habits bebes avec un cote un peu original et donc apres quelques recherches, je me permets de partager ici mes trouvailles!!!

This year I decided I would make an effort to find "gorgeous little baby things" from lovely places as opposed to the usual crap you get from your average baby store (such a hole in the market here, people!!!) so here are my little finds... thought I'd share the wealth!

Polarn O Pyret - already featured in this blog, great Swedish clothes company who do stripes - very well. Great quality t-shirts and body vests too.

Papa Pique et Maman Coud - French (no, really?) outfit which means "Daddy stiches and Mummy saws" , fabulous prints, bags, things, bits, well just about everything. The website is a shocker but the large tote bag I got is fabulous!!

Petit Pan - another great French website with gorgeous sleep bags for kids; Lou got the one below as a gift and it's utterly fab!

George et Rosalie - OMG found their stuff in a lovely little boutique in my hometown of Tours and loved it; check out these bed covers!!!
